Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

1. How far in advance should I book with Beyond The Garden?

A. Scheduling with Beyond Tthe Garden requires that our calendar be available for your date. Therefore, you should book your date at least 5 months in advance. If your wedding is less than 5 months away, call us to discuss availability. We will do all we can to meet your needs.

2. What should I bring to my consultation?

A. Bring any ideas that you have in mind. We want to see your pictures, drawings, or color swatches that will help us design the wedding of your dreams. We also have many portfolios for you to view; to aid in the decision process.

3. Will you come to me, or do I need to come to you?

A. I will be glad to meet you at another location with several portfolios. However, I can not bring displays, samples, or the entire collection of reference material for you to utilize. Therefore, it is best if you can come to my location and see all that we have to offer.

4. Do I need to know my floral budget?

A. We need to know what your budget is, or at least a good estimate. This allows us to discuss budget conscious ideas and reduce the possibility of "sticker shock". This will also allow us to not waste time on ideas that are simply out of reach.

5. How much should I plan for a flower budget?

A. Typically 10% - 15% of your wedding budget is a good estimate.

6. What if I am on a tight budget?

A. We can work with any budget. It is best to be honest upfront with your budget constraints. This allows us to suggest the best utilization of your available budget, and place flowers in the areas of maximum effect. We will also be able to suggest the best types of flowers to achieve your desired look.

7. Does Beyond The Garden rent items, or do I buy the items that I use?

A. There are many items that we have to rent, including vases, candelabras, pedestals, columns, and other items. Please see our "Rental Items" page to view some of the items.

8. How much is it to reserve my wedding date with Beyond The Garden?

A. If you would like us to do your flowers, a 40% deposit of the estimated total cost is required. You may book with us at the end of your consultation, or call us as soon as you have made your decision.

9. What are the delivery and setup costs?

A. The delivery/service fee is a percentage based of the total event cost and services employed. Additional service fees may be applied for intensive labor and deliveries outside of the regular delivery area.

10. Does Beyond The Garden do special order flowers for events other than weddings?

A. Yes, Beyond The Garden does flowers and arrangements for rehearsal dinners, party events, and corporate functions.
